As per the strategic recommendations laid out by BOTEK BOSPORUS, Phase-I delineates a critical stretch from Channi Sher Alam Bridge to Thalian Interchange, covering a distance of 38.3 km. Phase II unfolds a visionary plan, introducing a new route linking Margalla Avenue to the M-1 Motorway, seamlessly traversing the expanse of the New Islamabad International Airport. 

Another proposition suggests a direct connection from the M-1 (Islamabad – Peshawar) Motorway to the M-2 (Lahore-Islamabad) Motorway, unveiling versatile options for optimal connectivity. Envisaged to be 65 km in length and 110 meters in width, the Ring Road Rawalpindi boasts 6 lanes, complemented by service roads and strategically positioned interchanges.
